Client Overview

I started working on this project on April 1, 2024. Home&Decor is a brand focused on selling products for home decor, from simple night lamps to chandeliers. The brand is based in the US.

Phase 1: What Was My Challenge

ROAS below 1.5.
The CPA was more than $200 per item.
High cost per new customer (as we used the same audience).
Prepare quarterly development strategy
There funnels were a complete mess  (Google + Facebook or email + Facebook).

Phase 2: What Was Done?

A ROAS well above there breakeven was achieved at 3x
We decrease the average cost per purchase.
We addressed the high cost of customer acquisition.
We analyzed the buying funnel (and implemented omnichannel approaches to boost sales).

We explored methods to increase the average order value.

Phase 3: Conclusion Of Performance

I first analyzed all data from the Shopify to understand how sales were coming in, and after that, | built my strategy. Most importantly, | used ads that featured authentic product images and identified the bestsellers to launch those ads with a catalog.

Next, | reviewed the omnichannel sources (through marketing analytics) to understand how customers were buying the products, which is crucial. In my case, nearly 50% of customers visited Instagram but completed their purchase on Google or through a direct link. Based on this, | launched ads without 1-day view attribution, which helped me build afunnel for any audience. The next important step was to scale the ad set to engage more people effectively.
